Voters Reject Trump’s MAGA Agenda While Calling on Democrats to Deliver

Washington, D.C. – “Voters have sent a clear message: they are fed up with the Trump MAGA agenda that makes life harder and more expensive for working families. But make no mistake, despite their gains, Democrats must be clear about what this moment is really about. Winning elections is only the first step; they must demonstrate the ability to make a difference in peoples’ lives, from lowering costs and strengthening economic security to protecting reproductive freedom. 

“Several states took a turn in the right direction, particularly in the South. Last night Virginia offered an important example of what’s possible when leaders stand up for reproductive freedom and work to protect access. Going forward, newly elected leaders must be prepared to do more than rest on campaign promises — they must be prepared to hit the ground running and take action. We will be paying attention to see whether our leaders across the nation meet this moment with the urgency it demands and deliver the meaningful change that women and families deserve.”
