National Partnership Action Fund Joins with Care Can’t Wait Coalition to Sponsor Ad

Washington, DC – March 13, 2024 – Today, the National Partnership for Women & Families Action Fund, as part of the Care Can’t Wait Coalition, released a full page ad in the New York Times praising President Joe Biden for including care priorities in his recent State of the Union address.

The coalition is focused on achieving affordable child care that ensures child care workers are paid fairly, universal paid family medical leave so people can take time off to care for themselves or a loved one and home care for elders and people with living with disabilities to be able to live with dignity.

Additional organizations that sponsored the ad include: Caring Across Generations, Moms Rising Together, and National Women’s Law Center Action Fund.

Advertisement and ad text as follows:

“Imagine a future with affordable child care. Millions of families can get what they need to go to work to help grow the economy.

Imagine a future with paid leave – because no one should have to choose between working and taking care of their sick family member.

Imagine a future with home care and elder care and people living with disabilities – so they can stay in their homes – and family caregivers can finally get the pay they deserve!”

— President Biden’s 2024 State of the Union Address
